The Bible may not need an introduction but this approach does.
The concept was to make God's Word the Bible available online in a manner that looked and felt like a regular book. (One where you can turn the pages both backwards and forwards.)
We then added to that, to allow one to jump forward or backwards to any Book of the Bible and to any Chapter within a book. When you want to change places in the Bible you can now get to any Verse by selecting the Book from the slide bar on the far right and 2 clicks. (1. to the book (i.e.. Luke), 2. to the Chapter where all verses are available on one page).
What is being presented is the Bible as the focus as it should be. With it as the center of attention, check out the other links. Many links are audio and are almost all available right from the Bible page you are reading. Many contributors are responsible and their ministry sites may be visited form the top buttons. Enjoy the Bible and what God has given us.
The Bible is available online. Read it whenever you want. Click on your Browsers button "Favorites"( or Bookmark) and then click on "Add to Favorites") where you were last reading. When you come back and open your Browser you can click on the new Favorites entry you just created and it will take you back to the very spot that you were last reading.
Looking up individual passages is easier than flipping pages. Use the right hand slide bar to choose the book and then in 2 clicks you are on the page you were looking for.
THE AUDIO BIBLE (BASIC)
Any part of the Bible can now be listened to if that is the way you prefer to receive God's Word or for many other reasons.
Did you ever wonder how names in the Bible are pronounced. Listen to difficult passages and find out.
Tired of listening to CD's or music while you are working around the house, relaxing or doing a hobby? Click on the audio passages and you can hear the Bible read to you.
Pick a favorite chapter and listen to it when you are going to bed. Your computer can be set to turn off or go on standby and it will let you go to sleep with God's Word on your mind.
THE AUDIO BIBLE (ADVANCED)
Click on the references in the center of any Bible page. Here there are over 1000 AUDIO presentations by gifted speakers that explain the area of the Bible that is referenced at the point you select. It is easy to click and listen but this section is labeled advanced because of the added responsibility that is on the listener. In ACTS 17:11 we are told that the Boreans did not accept the word as it was told to them but "received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." This means that as we listen to someone's instruction or explanation the burden falls on us to make sure that what is being said is really true according to the scripture. In 2nd Timothy 3:16 we are told that "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness". Knowing this, it is our responsibility to check the scriptures to make sure that we are on the right track. It is easy to listen to these audio selections. This section is called advanced because listening to man's explanations really creates a need for us to check back and make sure we are hearing God's message and not man's opinion. To do this the Word of God is available in print while you listen or audio if you wish to hear it after your chosen audio message is finished.
If you are in an area like we are you may not have many options for Christian Radio. We have one station but it is never a clear signal. We have provided a radio button in the top right side that will give you a choice of 6 Christian Stations that come in clearly on your own computer. Music is available and some stations feature the same speakers heard on the Online Study Bible. Just click on one of the 6 station buttons and hear the station live. Real Player will open and you will hear the station from your computer with more clarity than the radio.
Now try something that your radio does not do. Check out the green display in the middle of the radio. It displays the station name but go a little farther and click on that green display (example KWVE ). Up pops the schedule for the radio station. You can see when music is available and when to listen to your favorite speaker or program. You can get back to the Online Study Bible any time and the stations continue to play. To turn off the station just go to the bottom of your computer and close the "Real Player" window. We hope you enjoy Christian Radio!

GOD is Powerful and his Word is Truth
Isaiah 55:8-55:11 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your
ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
